Rhod Gilbert set to host new entertainment show
It has been announced that Rhod Gilbert has been signed up to host the pilot of Is It Just Me? - a new Friday night entertainment format which looks at the quirky side of human nature.
Is It Just Me? is a new format in which four celebrity guests join the comedian to "celebrate the freakish things we think, the ridiculous things we do and the embarrassing things we think about doing."
Audience members are key to the new format, with some of them joining a judging panel on the show. The audience members will interrogate the celebrity guests and then vote on whether they agree "with the nonsense they're spouting."
A first run-through will take place tomorrow night, Tuesday 8th March, at the Cockpit Theatre in London, with a non-broadcast pilot organised for Wednesday 16th March. Tickets
Should the pilot be successful, it will be Rhod Gilbert's second panel show presenting role. Last year he hosted the BBC1 panel show Ask Rhod Gilbert.
Meanwhile, a second series of Rhod Gilbert's Work Experience, the light documentary series in which the comedian tries his hand at different jobs, starts on BBC One Wales tonight. It can be viewed nationwide on iPlayer
