- Chortle Award 2018 winners include Hannah Gadsby, Greg Davies, Rob Kemp, Natalie Palamides, Joe Lycett, Mae Martin and Flo & Joan
- Kiri Pritchard-McLean picked up two awards; whilst Jordan Brookes took the Comedian's Comedian title
- Other prizes went to Inside No. 9, Mark Steel's In Town and RHLSTP
Comedy website Chortle has announced the winners of its annual awards.
The prizes span a variety of mediums, but in reference to the gongs related to live comedy the website notes: "In a landmark year, the live comedy section of the ceremony was dominated by women for the first time - with female acts scooping more than half the categories."

The results were announced at a ceremony at PizzaExpress Live in the Holborn area of London tonight (Monday 19th March). The winners were determined by a public vote ran during February, based on the shortlists drawn up by a panel of comedy industry professionals.
