In The Loop and Wallace & Gromit gain Oscar nominations

British comedy writers Jesse Armstrong, Simon Blackwell, Armando Iannucci and Tony Roche have been nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay in the 2010 Oscars for their script for In The Loop, the film spin-off from political satire The Thick Of It. Official nomination page
