Billy Pearce - Bloomsbury Theatre Support Competition

Billy Pearce is back on the circuit. The stand-up comedian, who was a regular on the telly in 80s and 90s and won a number of prizes (including a British Comedy Award), is working up a new show.

He'll make a return to the London stage when he plays The Bloomsbury Theatre on Saturday 26th October 2013. Billy's management are running a competition which might be of interest to up-and-coming stand-up comedians. It's the chance to support Billy at the gig, performing on that well known stage in front of over 500 people.

With its relaxed atmosphere and well designed auditorium, The Bloomsbury Theatre has provided a stage for some of this country's biggest comedy stars, including the likes of Eddie Izzard, Jo Brand, Ricky Gervais, Jimmy Carr and Harry Hill. Now you could tread the boards too.

The winner of this competition will be invited to perform a 15 minute set before Billy comes on.

All you have to do to enter the competition is add a link to a YouTube or Vimeo video that features you performing live comedy to Billy's Official Facebook

This competition is run by Billy Pearce Entertainment Ltd.

This competition runs from 3pm on Wednesday 7th August 2013 until Midnight on Wednesday 4th September 2013 (the "Closing Date"). No entries will be accepted as eligible after midnight on this Closing Date.

If you are under the age of eighteen (18) you must obtain permission from your parent or guardian before you enter this competition.

Those eligible to enter the competition may do so by posting a link to a YouTube or Vimeo video of themselves performing live comedy to Billy Pearce's Official Facebook page at www.facebook.com/BillyPearceOfficial

Entries must be supported by a link to a YouTube or Vimeo video which showcases the nominated act. Entrants must not upload links to any obscene, derogatory, offensive or inappropriate videos and/or content.

The act chosen to support Billy Pearce at The Bloomsbury will be chosen by Billy Pearce and his management.

The Prize must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred or transferred. There will be no cash alternative.

The winning act will not be remunerated for their performance services, and will be responsible for all costs which they incur in relation to this competition including without limitation any travel and other such expenses.

Billy Pearce Entertainment Ltd does not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries. Billy Pearce Entertainment Ltd shall not be held responsible for any inability to submit entries as a result of computer service, systems and or server failure, error, interruption, defect or delay or any other technical malfunction. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.

Billy Pearce's decision is final and binding.

Billy Pearce Entertainment Ltd reserves the right to cancel or change this competition at any stage and to replace the winning act if deemed necessary in Billy Pearce's absolute discretion.

Results will be announced on www.billypearce.com and relevant Social Media sites.

Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and agreed to be bound by them when entering this competition.

This competition and the rules of the competition are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
