Write for 12 Sketches In A London House

12 Sketches In A London House

The new online web series 12 Sketches In A London House is looking for writers to join the team to script an episode.

Each of the three writers selected will see their script professionally made, and be given £250 too. The winning writers will also be invited to watch their sketch being filmed and will receive 1% of any net profit made.

The organisers say: "This is a great opportunity to have your ideas developed and filmed as part of a series to be watched by thousands!"

As the title suggests, the concept behind 12 Sketches In A London House is that all the episodes of the show are set in a single house. Some sketches have already been filmed, but the production team are looking for writers to devise scripts for the forthcoming episodes that will set in the dining room, garden and the cupboard under the stairs.

There are some guidelines: Scripts must equate to no more than three minutes of screen time, and include no more than 5 characters, of which at least one must be one of the show's two core performers: Dan Tambling and Lynsey McQuid.

To take part in the competition writers are required to submit a donation to the show's Indiegogo fundraising campaign. £5 for a single entry, or £10 for three entries. All submissions will receive bullet point feedback.

The deadline to enter is the 15th February 2016.

Talking to BCG, creator Dan Tambling says: "We're super excited about all the great scripts and scriptwriters we will get to work with." He adds the show is also proud to be "supporting British Comedy and fresh talent."
