Joey Page: Nice One
Joey Page is easily wound up. But why does he sweat the small stuff? Is he simply wrestling with the fact that life isn't as exciting as it promised to be? Or something deeper? Let's find out shall we? ... nice one.
As Joey embarks on one of his biggest career moments to date, travelling around the country in his Vauxhall Astra, Joey finds himself examining his success so far when it comes to perception vs reality. To quote Joey Page himself: "the burger's never as good as it looks on the picture."
Amid many industry initiatives championing accessibility and visibility for working class artists, Joey finds himself becoming a surprising spokesperson. His appearance, that of "a geography teacher who got an ASOS voucher for his birthday" you'd be forgiven for expecting new age philosophies cooked up from within his alternative East London lifestyle. But a little longer with this motor-mouthed rogue from Bexleyheath and you'll realise that he's from much humbler beginnings, navigating how he fits into a cultural no man's land of neither here nor there.
