In Careering, Stokes & Summers invite audiences to Hades House, a multi-company office block where every floor is full of stories, every office is full of oddballs, and behind every desk sits someone dealing with their own particular mess. Playing characters from tempestuous temps to anxious accountants, Stokes & Summers explore contemporary attitudes to work, the struggle to juggle work-life balance, and the conflict between following your dreams and paying the bills.

Mixing narrative and sketch comedy with live and digital performance, Careering explores the pressures and challenges of the modern workplace in a playful way that is "painfully relatable" (Entertainment Now). As Summers says: "Following dreams can be difficult in this modern world, but everyone deserves to give it a good go, and we're here to have a laugh about it with everyone along the way."

Leicester Comedy Festival will be the first stop of their 2023 UK tour on 25th February, followed by performances in London, Cambridge, Southampton, Isle of Wight, Milton Keynes, Salford, and at Machynlleth Comedy Festival, with more venues to be announced.

Kate Stokes and Claudia Summers first performed together as Bristol University drama students, and they earned rave reviews for their first touring show, A Really Really Big Modern Telly, at festivals including the Brighton Fringe. Critics hailed them as "highly talented actor-comedians" (Fringe Review), "definitely ones to watch" (Funny Women), and "an abundance of comedy talent" (Broadway Baby).
