Preview: Idil Sukan's This Comedian photo exhibition

Idil Sukan

Idil Sukan may not be a name you're familiar with, but you'll have certainly seen her work. As one of the most prolific photographers of British comedians, Idil's publicity photos and portraits regularly appear on posters, in newspapers and on websites like BCG.

Idil (pictured) is now putting on her first exhibition. This Comedian is a retrospective of her creative work in production, design and photography in the comedy industry. Running until March, the London-based exhibition features some 200 of Idil's most famous portraits and photographs alongside some never-before-seen-images from around the comedy world.

Open 12pm to 7pm each day from Friday 20th February - Sunday 8th March 2015, This Comedian is at Embassy Tea Gallery, Union Street (London, SE1 0LN - near Southwark and London Bridge tube stations). It's free to visit! To find out more about Idil, the exhibition and the other linked events (including a stand-up show and free photography workshops) visit thiscomedian.com
