Cardinal Burns - the sketch comedy duo otherwise known as Seb Cardinal and Dustin Demri-Burns - are set to tour the UK this autumn.

As they touched upon in this interview from April, Seb and Dustin first performed their unique brand of sketch comedy on the live circuit, thus this tour will be a return to their roots.

They first came to prominence with their critically acclaimed self-titled show at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2009. This went on to achieve sell out runs at London's Soho Theatre and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and attracted the attention of TV producers.

E4 signed them up, and the result was that the first series of Cardinal Burns went out in 2012, with a win at the British Comedy Awards certifying the show as a hit. Their second series - now 'promoted' to Channel 4 - has just finished, once again pleasing both newspaper critics and viewers.

Off the back of this, Cardinal Burns are now preparing to head on their first tour of the UK. It'll be a chance for fans of the TV show to see some of their favourite characters up close and personal, and for us to laugh at some new creations formed especially for the live environment.

The comedians are keeping the exact contents of the show a secret for the moment, but we think it's likely we'll be seeing appearances from reality TV stars Rachel and Yumi, the suburban bore Banksy, and their newer creations, the Turkish Cabbies.

Perhaps New Guy and Charlie - The Office Flirts (pictured) - will attempt to apply their charms on the front row? Phil and Jase would be handy to have on the tour too, in case any of the venues happen to be haunted.

Seb and Dustin will be starting off with a 13 date run at London's Soho Theatre from the 8th September, before visiting Hayes, Lincoln, Salford, Weston-Super-Mare, Kidderminster, Harrogate, Norwich, Cambridge, Poole, Gloucester, Brighton, Leeds, Guildford, Bangor, High Wycombe, Southampton, Swindon, Leicester, Liverpool and Winchester across October and November.

Just in case Seb and Dustin are read this page themselves, we're just going to add a request here for an appearance from Curtis the old-skool rapper. We love this sketch so much:
