Alan Carr has announced a major tour of the UK and Ireland for 2015.

Starting in February 2015, his new live show - titled Yap, Yap, Yap! - will see him visit over 120 theatres across the year.

The tour organisers say: "No stranger to yap, Alan Carr will be yapping his way around the UK and Ireland with his brand new stand up show Yap, Yap, Yap!. The BAFTA and British Comedy Award winning comedian, author and chat show supremo returns to his stand-up roots with his hilarious take on life.

"The original Tooth Fairy, Spexy Beast and Chatty Man himself, will be yapping it up from coast to coast with this epic tour taking in over 120 theatre shows throughout 2015."

Tickets go on general sale on Friday 7th November at 10am, although individual venue and theatre pre-sales start on Wednesday 5th November at 9am.

The tour will start in Weston Super Mare on the 1st February 2015, and end in Derry eleven months later. Chelmsford, Exeter, Inverness, Guildford, Cambridge, Milton Keynes, Oxford, Edinburgh, Cheltenham, Swansea, Reading, Basingstoke, Dublin, Birmingham, Liverpool, Sheffield, Glasgow, Manchester, Leicester, Brighton and Newcastle are just some of the towns and cities he'll be visiting along the way.

A brand new live DVD will be recorded at the Hammersmith Apollo on Friday 26th September, for release in time for Christmas 2015.

His publicity material says: "Tickets will sell out fast so don't miss the chance to get up close and personal with one of the country's most funniest, cherished and unique comedians at the very top of his game."
