Maisie Adam has won the Amused Moose National New Comic Award 2018, in a final at the Edinburgh Fringe. Joe Hobbs and Stephen Trumble also took home prizes.
Simon Lomas has won the Petfringe Comedian Of The Year 2018 competition, which has the biggest cash prize in UK comedy. Nick Page was second and Alistair Williams was third.
Jimmy Carr, Russell Howard and Katherine Ryan will be amongst the headliners at Comedy Central Live, a three day festival in Southampton between 5th and 7th October.
Robert White, who came runner-up in the 2018 series of Britain's Got Talent, is to tour the UK between February and April 2019 with a show titled The Tank Top Tour.
