Will Owen has been crowned the winner of the Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian Of The Year 2022 competition. Vidura Bandara Rajapaksa and Viggo Venn were the runners up, with Sarah Roberts third.
Ventriloquist Paul Zerdin will tour his new show Puppetman between September and November 2023.
The Leicester Comedy Festival has announced the shortlists for the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year, UK Pun Championships and Silver Stand Up contests, plus the Circuit Breakers development programme.
