Paul Merton is performing an hour-long stand-up show for the first time in more than 25 years, with two work-in-progress gigs at the Museum of Comedy in London. "Many people have no idea I used to do stand-up and I'm one of them" he said. "I thought I would return to stand-up while I could still stand."

Ellie BW, who performs as a character called Howard, has won the Leicester Square Theatre Sketch Off! 2023 final. Lorna Rose Treen was second, with Andrew Doherty third.
