Mark Simmons announces 2026 tour
- Stand-up show Mark Simmons: Jest to Impress will tour from January 2026
- "Another hour of back-to-back finely crafted gags from the master of one liners"
Award-winning one-liner comedian Mark Simmons has announced his next tour, which will start in 2026.
Simmons, who won Dave's Joke Of The Fringe 2024 with the gag "I was going to sail around the globe in the world's smallest ship but I bottled it", will tour Jest to Impress from January next year.
The comic's debut tour - Quip Off the Mark - was extended multiple times, in the end running to over 200 dates across three years. The filmed version has recently been released on YouTube.
Talking about the 2026 dates, his promoters say: "The new show, Jest to Impress, is another hour of back-to-back finely crafted gags from the master of one liners. He is taking the show to bigger rooms than ever including the Hackney Empire, Brighton Corn Exchange, Nottingham Playhouse, Yvonne Arnaud Guildford, as well as returning to old favourites, The Salford Lowry, Leeds City Varieties, and many more."
