Russell Hicks to head out on first UK tour
- Russell Hicks: Happy To Be Here will tour between October 2024 and April 2025
American-born comedian Russell Hicks is set to head out on his first tour this autumn with his new show Happy To Be Here.
The blurb says: "It's about his love of being in the UK and how he wants to remain here, much to the bemusement of the British people - why don't we believe him?
"Russell, hailing from the USA, has lived in the UK for 10 years, where he has been performing stand-up for and growing his fanbase off and online. The show will see him navigate his thoughts of living here compared to the USA as well as his experiences of being sober, polyamory and the different types of relationships he is open to as well as what he learned along the way. Although, his parents still think he makes his money through some kind of illegal activity, so this tour is helping him prove his legitimacy to his parents that he's not earning through some nefarious means."
