Ed Byrne announces Tragedy Plus Time tour
- Ed Byrne will tour the stand-up show Tragedy Plus Time between September and December 2023
- The show, which will start at the Edinburgh Fringe, will see the comic "mine the most tragic event in his life for laughs"
Ed Byrne has announced a new tour for September to December 2023.
His promoters say: "One of the UK's favourite TV household names returns to the stage with a brand-new show as he heads to Edinburgh this summer and then on the road in autumn."
The comedian's brother, comedy director Paul Byrne, died last year of Hodgkin lymphoma.
Promoters say: "From the quote attributed to Mark Twain, humour is defined as Tragedy Plus Time. Come and join one of our leading laugh specialists as he tests that formula by mining the most tragic event in his life for laughs."
