Justina Seselskaite has won the BCG Pro Talent Awards: Performance 2021 final.

Justina is a new comedian based in Manchester. An immigrant from Lithuania, she is trying to master the English language through comedy, and covered topics including Facebook campaigns, her position as an immigrant, and her relationship, with a refreshing twist.

Seselskaite says: "I started comedy nine months ago and to be recognised like this feels amazing! Thank you so much everyone!"

The live final took place last night (Friday 25th March 2022) at The Museum Of Comedy in London and was hosted by Stuart Goldsmith.

The other finalists performing were Coral Bevan (as Fisherman John), Dave Bibby, Amber Phillips and Hartley Pool.

To enter, comedians submitted videos through BCG Pro, British Comedy Guide's platform for comedy creatives, with judges selecting the best five acts to perform live. The entries were made in 2021, however the final was delayed until now due to coronavirus.

The show also saw Adam Hopkins - who had been picked by judges as the winner in the Starter category - performing a set to the packed crowd.

A stand-up and writer from Leeds, Hopkins started doing comedy while living in China and has performed in cities all across Asia, including Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Bangkok, Taipei and even Wuhan.

On receiving the news he'd won, he said: "I've been struggling to get regular stage time and to get my name out there since moving back to the UK last August, so I'm very grateful."

The 2022 BCG Pro Talent Awards: Performance competition will open for entries in August.
