The Guilty Feminist: Live tour has notably added a date at The Royal Albert Hall.

The podcast, hosted by comedian Deborah Frances-White, is currently travelling the UK with a special touring version of the show. It's now been announced the show will play The Royal Albert Hall too.

The Guilty Feminist becomes the second comic podcast in recent years to play the vast space, following on from My Dad Wrote A Porno's gig at the historic venue.

The producers confirm: "On Sunday 7th July 2019, The Guilty Feminist: Live will play an extra special matinee performance at one of the city's most iconic and legendary venues, the prestigious Royal Albert Hall. With an incredible line up of very special guests (to be announced shortly), this riotous and uplifting show is this summer's must-see event for all guilty feminists!"

The Guilty Feminist format sees Deborah Frances-White and her guests discuss their noble goals as 21st century feminists and their own hypocrisies and insecurities which undermine those goals. The podcasts, which launched in December 2015, have now been downloaded over 60 million times.

The Guilty Feminist: Live sees Deborah joined by "some of her favourite comedy and musical guests for a celebration of how far we've come, and a conversation about what still very much needs to be done." Guests joining her across the tour include Bridget Christie, Jenny Éclair, Sindhu Vee, Jess Robinson, Rachel Parris, Felicity Ward and many more.

Tickets for the tour, and The Royal Albert Hall date, are available from Ticketmaster

As recently announced, The Guilty Feminist is also teaming up with the charity Amnesty International to put on three Secret Policeman's Ball gigs.
