Emily Atack, star of The Inbetweeners and ITV reality show I'm A Celebrity, is turning her hand to stand-up comedy.
She will debut her first comedy tour in early 2019, despite not having taken the traditional route of working up material and stage craft over a number of years on the stand-up open mic circuit.
Talk Thirty To Me is described as "a live memoir of anecdotes, impressions and tales of a comedy actor in her twenties".
The promoters explain: "Emily will unravel today's anxiety-inducing world of scrolling through social media, swiping right and left, slimming apps, and the never-ending search for 'the one'. Her debut tour promises to be a truly hilarious, tongue-in-cheek look at 'having it all' and turning 30 in the millennial age."
Atack, who played Charlotte Hinchcliffe in The Inbetweeners and has since had roles in comedies such as The Keith Lemon Sketch Show and Birds Of A Feather, recently participated in I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!. Watched by over 11 million viewers, she received 3.4 million votes on the final day, resulting in a second place positioning.
At the time of writing, 12 dates have been booked in for Talk Thirty To Me. Her tour starts in Birmingham on 11th April 2019, and then visits Coventry, Banbury, Basingstoke, Swindon, Corby, Norwich, Bridgwater, Leeds, Salford and Liverpool. It finishes at London's Clapham Grand on the 23rd May 2019.
