A fourth Still Game live show has been announced. Tickets are now on sale.
Still Game: The Final Farewell will be in residency at Glasgow's SSE Hydro arena from Friday 27th September 2019, with five performances currently scheduled over three days, marking the characters' 20th anniversary.
If tickets - now on sale, starting at £33.50 each - sell well, further dates will be added.
The hit sitcom has run periodically on BBC Scotland since 2002, and will soon air its ninth and final series. The Final Farewell show promises to "unite the full television show cast for the very last time", giving fans a "spectacular send off".
Created, written by and starring Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill as pensioners Jack Jarvis and Victor McDade, living in the fictional Glasgow suburb of Craiglang, the 'Still Game' world originated in the late 1990s with a hit stage show, which toured internationally. They were then seen in BBC Scotland's iconic sketch series Chewin' The Fat from 1999, proving equally successful on screen.
The Still Game sitcom itself followed in 2002, with a second, hugely successful live show staged for 21 nights at the SSE Hydro in 2014. A second arena show - the characters' third in total - named Still Game: Live 2 Bon Voyage was put on at the same venue early in 2017.
Signed up to appear in the new show alongside Kiernan and Hemphill are Paul Riley as Winston; Jane McCarry as Isa; Mark Cox as Tam; Sanjeev Kohli as Navid; and Gavin Mitchell as Boabby.
The 1999 and 2014 live shows are available to own on DVD.
Update - more dates added:
Friday 11 October 2019 at 7.30pm
Sat 12 October 2019 at 2.30pm & 7.30pm

It's a new day in Craiglang. Jack is invited to Canada for his daughter's wedding vow renewal but decides to embrace technology to be there from the comfort of The Clansman. The other regulars manage to make this much more difficult than it should be...
