Kevin Bridges receives award from Glasgow arena

Following a successful run of 19 sell-out shows at The SSE Hydro arena in Glasgow, Kevin Bridges has been presented with the 'Gie It Laldy' award.
The presentation by CEO Peter Duthie marks the first official accolade from the Hydro, which recognises "an exceptional contribution to the live event industry".
Kevin was presented with the award backstage, accompanied by his dog Annie.
Receiving the accolade Kevin said: "Thanks to the Hydro for the award. It's an honour to play so many shows at such a brilliant arena and most importantly thanks to the people of Glasgow and those who travelled from all over to see the show."
Bridges has been performing his latest show, The Brand New Tour, which includes a significant 19 dates in his home city. Speaking about the shows, he noted the "amazing audiences" and added "here's to many more nights over the years".
Peter Duthie, of venue owners Scottish Event Campus, comments: "We are delighted to recognise Kevin's achievement at the SSE Hydro with this award. To date, and across the wider SEC campus he has played an incredible 46 performances and sold more tickets than any other solo artist."
