Lee Ridley, the winner of Britain's Got Talent 2018, has announced his debut UK tour.

The performer - who is also known as Lost Voice Guy - will take his new comedy show around the country between February and April 2019.

Ridley, who has cerebral palsy and thus uses a communication aid to speak, made his first stand-up performance in February 2012. He went on to win the BBC New Comedy Award in 2014 before coming to mainstream attention by winning Britain's Got Talent earlier this year.

His tour will start in Barnsley on the 2nd February 2019 and concludes in April with two dates in Brighton. His support act will be 2017 Britain's Got Talent semi-finalist Jonny Awsum. As part of the run of shows, Ridley will play the Tyne Theatre & Opera House in his home city of Newcastle on 17th February.

His promoters say: "He may not be able to talk but he definitely has something to say and his comedy will leave you speechless."

His next appearances will be at the Edinburgh Festival in August, however that run has already sold out.

In separate news, it was recently announced that Ability, the Radio 4 sitcom he stars in and co-writes, will return for a second series.
