The channel explains: "Comedy Central Live, which will take place in Southampton on October 5th, 6th and 7th, will bring Comedy Central's shows and faces to festival goers on the ground for the first time."
Over 70 comedians are set to appear across the three days. The network says: "The event will be packed with performances from some of the biggest names in comedy including Rob Delaney, Rob Beckett, Desiree Burch, Chris Ramsey, Joel Dommett, Nish Kumar, Iain Stirling, Luisa Omielan, Russell Kane, Dane Baptiste, Mo Gilligan, Phil Wang, Suzi Ruffell, Reginald D Hunter, Doc Brown and winner of this year's Britain's Got Talent, Lee Ridley (AKA Lost Voice Guy)."

As part of the events, the network will also be staging live versions of some of its TV formats. Audiences will be able to watch unique performances of Your Face Or Mine, Drunk History and Roast Battle.
There will also be a themed experiential area, including iconic comedy attractions from South Park, Joel And Nish Vs The World and Takeshi's Castle, the latter of which will allow visitors to take on one of the world's biggest inflatable obstacle courses.
Visitors will also be able to watch some of their favourite comedians belt out classic musical hits in live stage show AMusical, and comic drag supergroup Denim will host an alternative all day party at the festival.
Jill Offman from Comedy Central says: "We are always looking for new ways to connect with our loyal audiences, so it only made sense for Comedy Central to launch one of the biggest comedy festivals the UK has ever seen. We will be offering all our favourite stand-up acts as well as live versions of our best shows including Your Face Or Mine and Drunk History along with a chance to bounce on Takeshi's Castle, the world's largest inflatable TV pop-up!"
