Joe Pasquale to star in Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em stage show

Joe Pasquale is to play Frank Spencer in the new stage version of Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em.
The classic sitcom, created by Raymond Allen, ran on TV from 1973 to 1978 with Michael Crawford in the lead role as the accident-prone Frank, with Michele Dotrice as his long-suffering wife Betty. The stars briefly reprised their characters for a 2016 special for Sport Relief.
The new play, which will tour the UK, has been adapted from the TV version by Guy Unsworth, and will be produced by Limelight Productions, the company that has previously been involved in live shows such as Peppa Pig and Goodnight Mister Tom.
In the new version Sarah Earnshaw will play Betty, with Susie Blake as Mrs Fisher, the disapproving mother-in-law.
The play will open at Swindon's Wyvern Theatre on the 21st February 2018 and will then visit cities including Portsmouth, Aberdeen, Wolverhampton, Plymouth and Hull. The tour ends in Southend on the 30th June 2018.
