Michael McIntyre has announced a major new tour, one which will see him perform in venues around the world.
Michael McIntyre's Big World Tour will see the stand-up perform to arenas across the UK and Ireland in 2018 as well as revisiting Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa and Norway and heading to the US, Canada, Switzerland, Iceland, Sweden, Malta and the Netherlands for the first time.
Between March and November 2018 he will play the arena venues in Aberdeen, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Brighton, Cardiff, Dublin, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham, Plymouth and Sheffield.
Tickets for the new tour are expected to sell quickly when they go on public pre-sale on Thursday. McIntyre is one of the UK's biggest selling artists, having sold over 1.5 million tickets to his live shows to date. His sales statistics include a record-breaking 28 performances at London's 16,000 capacity O2 Arena. Meanwhile, around the world, Michael has previously sold out arenas in New Zealand, Australia and Dubai and he holds the record for the biggest selling comedy shows in South Africa and Norway.
In terms of DVD sales, McIntyre has sold over 3.5 million DVDs to date.
Tickets for Michael's UK and Ireland tour dates go on general sale from 10am on Friday 5th May, with pre-sale tickets available from 10am on Thursday 4th May from Ticketmaster
