Dr Strangelove play to be screened in cinemas
A recording of the new stage version of Dr Strangelove will be released in cinemas.
The play, based on Stanley Kubrick's 1964 film, stars Steve Coogan in multiple roles. It launched in October and Noël Coward Theatre in London's West End until 25th January 2025.
A recorded version of the show will then be released in cinemas from 27th March 2025.
Coogan takes on four iconic roles in the critically acclaimed play, which has been described as "an explosively funny new theatrical reimagining" of the story of a rogue US General who triggers a nuclear attack. The production is led by a creative team including Emmy Award-winner Armando Iannucci and Olivier Award-winner Sean Foley.
The cinema screenings are being organised by National Theatre Live. Audiences can find their nearest screening at drstrangelove.ntlive.com
