The Iceman to perform as part of Go Faster Stripe recording day

Wednesday 4th September 2024, 5:14pm

Anthony Irvine

Independent comedy production company Go Faster Stripe is recording four stand-up comedy shows at The Bill Murray club on 22nd September 2024.

Seymour Mace, Anthony Irvine (AKA The Iceman), Siân Docksey and Bilal Zafar will each have their show recorded as part of the day.

The schedule is:

2pm - Seymour Mace

Fresh from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the force of nature that is Seymour Mace will be performing his show Seymour Fucking Mace You Cunts!, consisting of stories from his life pulled together with his signature delightful nonsense.

4:30pm - The Iceman

The Iceman, known for his ice pun-filled shows through the 1980s in which he attempts to melt a large block of ice, will be performing for 30 minutes (using a smaller block of ice).

7pm - Siân Docksey

Siân Docksey's Pole Yourself Together! is a genre-smashing feminist pole-dancing stand-up comedy show that soars through topics such as climate angst, politics, absurdism and tax advice.

9pm - Bilal Zafar

Bilal Zafar uses his wonderful storytelling style in his show Imposter, which centres around his real-life experience of when a housemate tried to get him arrested five times.

Tickets to the four shows are available from the venue's website.

The recordings will be released as stand-up specials through Go Faster Stripe directly, with one exception: the footage from The Iceman's performance will instead be used in the forthcoming documentary Melt It! The Film Of The Iceman.
