Rachel Fairburn: Showgirl to be filmed
Rachel Fairburn's Showgirl is to be filmed next month.
The Mancunian comedian and podcaster took the show across the UK last autumn in what has been her biggest tour to date, and performed it last month at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
A new performance has now been announced for Saturday 19th October, in the Joe Longthorne Theatre on Blackpool's iconic North Pier. Tickets are on sale.
Promoters teased of the tour: "Rachel will be casting her acerbic eye over everything, from your children to her pretentious new alcohol-free life (accurate at time of writing).
"She's worried though. Has she mellowed a bit? She carries a lucky crystal now. Catch her before she disappears to the countryside with only joss sticks and taxidermy for company."
She will be back on tour from February 2025 with her next show, Side Eye. Tickets are now available.
