99 Club announces 2024 bursary recipients
The 99 Club has revealed its bursary award allocations for 2024.
The winners were determined through performances from the Female & Non-Binary Comedians Bursary Programme's finalists. Two awards of £500 were given to Kemah Bob and Sarah Roberts, with three awards of £100 given to Amy Mason, Caitriona Dowden and Katie Green.
The final Bursary Showcase, headlined by Esther Manito and hosted by Carly Smallman, was held last night in Lonodn.
Alongside an audience of invited guests and the comedy-loving public, a judging panel of industry professionals comprised of Rachael Healy, Bruce Dessau, James Woroniecki, Sarah Henley, Nicole Goodchild and Steve Bennett.
The 99 Club will now continue to work with the winners, finalists, and engage with other comedians who applied for the programme.
Past bursary recipients include Sikisa, Lara Ricote, Sophie Duker, Helen Bauer, Catherine Bohart, Sarah Keyworth and Janine Harouni.
