Gary Delaney and Sarah Millican's dog has a great name
Gary Delaney and Sarah Millican's dog is called Commander Tuvok!
The comedy couple adopted the little chap from Dogs Trust, and named him after the Star Trek character. For the record, they also have two cats with movie-related names: Chief Brody and Lieutenant Ripley.
Delaney will be headlining at a gig on Monday (27th March) to raise funds for Dogs Trust.
He says: "Our little dog, Commander Tuvok, came from Dogs Trust and is now part of the family. If I can pay them back even a little by doing some daft jokes at a fun gig in Brum then I'm in."
Stand Up For Dogs Trust - which will take place at the Glee club in Birmingham - will also feature Jo Enright, Junior Simpson, Lloyd Griffith and Leo Kearse.
The gig has been organised by Dogs Trust Kenilworth volunteer Caroline Taylor, of Sparkle Productions, after she saw first-hand what a real difference Dogs Trust makes to the lives of the dogs in their care.
Jane Hirons from Dogs Trust says: "We have got an incredible line up of award-winning comedy talent who are all set to put on a show in aid of Dogs Trust. We're so grateful to Caroline for putting on the event, and of course to the talent who are giving up their time to give us lots of laughs and help raise lots of money."
This gig has now been and gone, but you can still donate to Dogs Trust
