Comedy Central Live

Comedy Central Live Southampton

In just a fortnight's time, Comedy Central Live! will take over Southampton city centre's Hoglands Park for a weekend packed with comedy treats.

Running Friday to Sunday, 5th-7th October, the broadcaster's first ever own comedy extravaganza is teased as "a brand new, massive stand-up and experiential festival".

With more than 70 top-name comics performing, including Lauren Pattison, Reginald D Hunter and Lost Voice Guy, Comedy Central Live, the festival will also see live editions of Your Face Or Mine, Roast Battle, Drunk History and new format Amusical.

Headline sets across the three nights come from Jimmy Carr, Russell Howard and Katherine Ryan, with other critically-acclaimed names due to appear on the festival's two stages include Rob Delaney, Jayde Adams, Joel Dommett, Stephen Bailey, Nish Kumar, Mae Martin, Rob Beckett, Ed Gamble, Desiree Burch, Andrew Maxwell, Suzi Ruffell, Doc Brown and Matt Richardson - plus many more.

The broadcaster also promises "a Comedy Central-themed experiential area", including comedy attractions from South Park.

They add: "Those ticket holders who are brave enough can also step into the world of Takeshi's Castle and take on the ultimate inflatable obstacle course - one of the biggest in the world!"

The Edinburgh Fringe hit Amusical, which has recently been commissioned for a TV pilot on Comedy Central, will also be staged, seeing comedians belt out classic musical hits live on stage show.

Meanwhile, drag super-group 'Denim' will host an alternative all day party tent at the festival, and there will be Comedy Central-themed food concessions and a whole host of other activities for ticket holders to enjoy.

Tickets are on sale now, priced from just £20 per day - and there are also special VIP passes on offer. Details & book
