Stop, COLLABORATE and Listen - Jarred Christmas on his new show mission

I'm a big fan of comedy. I'm a big fan of beat boxing. I can do comedy but I can't beat box. I can make noises and I have a beard and I am a man but beardy man I am not.

So what do you do when you have two passions you want to smash together? Collaboration. That's why I have hooked up with a brilliant beat boxer called "Hobbit".

Jarred Christmas

Together we have created an insane collab (that's what the hipsters call it and I do have hips) smashing together comedy and beat boxing. The thing is Hobbit is pretty funny anyway and he can beat box. I can only do the comedy. I feel inferior. But I cunningly disguise that by over-compensating.

The show is full of stupid games a beat box workshop and a dance off. It's the ultimate collaboration not just between beat boxer and comic but also with the audience. Collaboration what a beautiful word. Much better than audience participation. Yuk.

Something else I believe in is the Phoenix Fringe. It's a great concept put together by a great team. They have pulled together a stellar line up and I'm delighted to be involved again.

So if you like your comedy funny and your beats mouth made and your audience participation more collaborative then this is the show for you. If you are a total dick splash then stay at home and watch X Factor's Got Talent in the Kitchen with Joey Essex or whatever it's called.

Hobbit is an award winning beat boxer. Jarred Christmas (me. Totes 3rd personing it up) is an award winning comic. Hobbit makes music with his mouth. Jarred makes comedy with his mouth. What happens when their mouths collaborate? Kissing. That's what happens. That's not the show though. The show is not kissing. Agh fuck it. Just come to the show. It's not kissing. It's mouth magic. Whatever.

You can see Jarred Christmas and Hobbit at the Phoenix Fringe in London at 8:30pm on Friday 8th August 2014. To find out more visit phoenixfringe.co.uk
