Whatever else you may say about BBC3, they do make some Marmite. Following the BCG forum's love-it/loathe-it meltdown over the We Are Klang sitcom last year, we're now in the midst of a further debate about the merits of Lee Nelson's Well Good Show. Opinions vary from "couldn't even get through ten minutes" to - yes - "well good."

Nelson is a busy young man - mostly with Circuit Training's loved-ones, apparently - and quite honestly we couldn't be arsed to traipse down to some dodgy pub in South London, so just texted him a few questions. Several weeks later, Lee - who has booked the occasional Travelodge under the alias Simon Brodkin - finally texted them back.

Alright Lee, what are you up to today, apart from doing this?

I'm about to make myself what I call a 'Nelsy fry-up' - six eggs, six sausages, six rashers, half a tub of butter. All eaten off your mum.

Can you talk us through your typical day?

I normally wake up next to your sister at about 12pm. I'll crack open a bag of crisps, cane ten B&H, get my Playstation on the go and get back to bed nine hours later.

Your new series is on the BBC - why do you reckon they've signed you up?

They signed me up coz I'm well funny. I used to send in stuff I'd filmed on my mobile like when I tied up my best mate Omelette and stuffed a load of crunchy nut cornflakes down his throat which was well funny coz Omelette's got this thing called a nut allergy.

Tell us a bit about the series then - who's in it, what happens, and all that?

The show's a right laugh. I ain't going to tell you too much and ruin the fun but it's proper quality and we been number one in the iPlayer charts. Mind you I have got a team of Filipino kids clicking away on a load of stolen laptops.

Where does it rate among the great comedy series of all time?

The show's up there with the all time great British comedies like The Chuckle Brothers.

Have you abused your new power at all? Got a load of your mates on Telly?

I got my best mate Omelette on. He's a fat legend and he just sits there in the studio on his sofa that he brought from home laughing and eating. Also my Nan sings some quality grime tunes which is well funny coz she's shit at singing."

How gutted is your mate Jason Bent about missing out on the World Cup squad?

He was well happy actually coz while all the squad were out in South Africa, all the WAGS were back home and he got to 'John Terry' a lot of them.

The Beeb are really worried about offending people these days - have they made you cut down on your language and stuff?

Well we bad to pull the plug on this one section called 'Let's Phone Famous People and Talk about Fucking Their Granddaughters'. Other than that they've been alright.
