The nominees for The Malcolm Hardee Awards 2024 have been revealed.

The awards - which are handed out in the memory of comic, agent, manager, club-owner and prankster Malcolm Hardee - celebrate and promote the spirit of anything-goes comedy anarchy at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Cunning Stunt

Huge Davies
For tricking people using mock-up national press covers suggesting that he had been cancelled.

Luke Rollason
For hiding 100 loo rolls with his face on in the toilets at performer bars.

Thom Tuck
For performing at a different time and a different location every day, so the audience has to engage on social media to find out where and when the show is.

Tim Reeves
For creating a pastiche brochure that satirises different kinds of shows at the Fringe.

The winners will be presented with their awards at the end of the festival.

The Malcolm Hardee Awards have run since 2005, the year of Malcolm Hardee's death. The judging panel is comprised of Marissa Burgess, Kate Copstick, Bruce Dessau, Jay Richardson, Claire Smith and Ian Wolf.
