2023 Edinburgh Fringe
Comedians' Choice Awards 2023 voting is open
The Comedians' Choice Awards are once again running at the Edinburgh Fringe. Honouring shows, performers and people working at the festival, it is the only set of awards to be voted on exclusively by performers at the festival.
Acts have until 23:59 on Monday 21st August to submit their nominations for Best Show, Best Performer and Best Person.
Aside from the kudos of winning, the most popular shows in the voting will be offered the chance to showcase their creations at The Museum Of Comedy in central London this autumn, receiving a split of ticket sales in the process.
David Hardcastle from the venue says: "Nobody sees more shows at the Fringe than the acts themselves and the range and quality of previous winners is amazing. We hosted some fantastic acts from the competition last year and we're very excited to provide a showcase for the competition again this autumn."
The winners will be announced on Thursday 24th August.
The Comedians' Choice Awards have been running since 2014. Last year's winners were Rob Copland (Best Show), Jordan Gray (Best Performer) and producer Martin Willis (Best Person).
