Edinburgh Fringe
Three Sisters Not By Chekhov
If Austen had a love child with Brecht and said it was Chekhov's, this may be the result. A one-act play, but also it's a clown show. An honest to god period piece, deconstructed in real time, led by clowns who want to be actors who are clowns and furthermore, both. If you made the cage, you made the key, and confusion may be the only way out. 'Intelligent humour that ranges from black to bubble-gum pink' (Charleston City Paper). 'Genuineness of intimacy... veracity of creativity - there is no faint-heartedness' (TheTVolution.com).
