Elf Lyons's Horses has been voted Best Show by her peers at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The Comedians' Choice Awards also saw Ian Lockwood named Best Newcomer.
"I was going to sail around the globe in the world's smallest ship but I bottled it" has been voted the Funniest Joke of the Fringe. Gags by Alec Snook, Arthur Smith and Olaf Falafel also feature in the top 10.
The Comedians' Choice Awards are returning to the Edinburgh Fringe. This year, thanks to generous support from Angel Comedy and The Museum of Comedy, there will be a prize fund, with the winners of Best Show and Best Newcomer awards each receiving a cash prize to help with the cost of their festival accommodation.
