Wyld Woman: The Legend of Shy Girl
Shy people, you there? This hilarious and tender tale follows Shy Girl's ambitious attempt to open up (emotionally, spiritually, uh... physically) in hopes of expanding her social life beyond the feeble realm of her imaginary friends and finding real human connection. Following sold-out, highly-beloved runs in NYC, Wyld Woman (written/performed by Isabel Renner, directed by Cameron King) is officially joining the ranks of international legendhood. 'A great triumph over shyness' and 'a powerful catharsis for anyone who has ever crossed the street just to avoid someone they know.' (BroadwayWorld.com).

Greg Stewart, Theatre Weekly, 15th July 2024Theatre At The Fringe - Wyld Woman: The Legend of Shy Girl
"The show follows a severely timid woman (the titular Shy Girl, of course) in her attempt to be seen as cool and sexually desirable despite the fact that her only friend (well, besides her densely populated imaginary clique) is her therapist who is actually a six year old who is actually just her babysitting client."

"I think the title of the show makes people expect a slutty and scandalous evening at the theatre. I would NOT like to clear up this misconception."
