A hilarious history tour through the seriously skanky past lurking behind the "posh" New Town façade. Discover sex, drugs and Scotland's first purpose-built comedy club (not that one). Edinburgh's New Town might think she's a cut above her grubbier sister, the Old Town, but she forgets her own dodgy past... There's a whiff of scandal everywhere. No wonder the curtains twitch. Behind them you'll find world-class courtesans, bonking bankers and outdoor sex parties. Yes, in Scotland. Brave, given the weather. That's the funny thing about history. It's funny.
