Whether it's a relationship problem, how to word a sensitive work email or the best way to cook a brisket, this Jewish mother has all the answers you'll need. Award-winning comedian Rachel Creeger presents her brand-new interactive comedy show. Want to know anything about anything? Just ask your Jewish mother already!

Known for playing off and challenging stereotypes through her work, in Ultimate Jewish Mother Rachel aims to prove that Jewish mothers always know best and have the answer to any possible query - however personal! The hour is a mixture of stand-up, improvised responses to audience questions, advice from her "upcoming book" notes, and occasional parody songs. Questions are submitted in advance via email, in the queue or live during the show.

A neurodivergent performer, this is also a window into the way Rachel's chaotic brain can sometimes be laser-focused!

Due to the interactive nature of Ultimate Jewish Mother, the show is unpredictable and will be different every time. Other than the introduction and finale, what happens depends on the audience's questions and reactions. Rachel will need to select her responses from her body of material and songs or improvise something new. It might include 3 songs on one day or 1 on the following day, and at varying points in the show each time. The way the hour plays out is entirely determined by the room on each occasion.

The show has received two fantastic press reviews so far:

"Rachel Creeger's latest masterpiece... a seasoned comedian it was no surprise she had her audience immediately eating out of her hands" - North West End UK

"The walls of JW3 positively reverberated with laughter... Creeger's quick, witty retorts had us howling." - The Jewish News

Feedback from audiences has been equally effusive, including "Original and quirkily you" (Sally Berkowic, Author), "Fabulous!" (Estee Stimler, Theatrical Book Writer and Lyricist), "Rachel Creeger's hilarious new show, which had the audience absolutely schticking themselves with laughter" (Raymond Simonson, CEO JW3), "Wonderful and funny" (Tiran Aakel, Actor). There are many lovely comments on social media but the winner so far is Emma, who said she had to buy chicken soup as soon as the show ended, then posted on Facebook "Craving now sated #wontbeasgoodasrachels".

Rachel Creeger is a multi-award-winning stand-up comedian, writer, director, and broadcaster, and the only practicing orthodox Jew on the mainstream UK comedy circuit. She's resident MC for London club Comedy Upstairs at the Adam & Eve, and co-hosts both internationally renowned chat show podcast Jew Talkin' To Me? and Neighbours superfan podcast Leaving Erinsborough.

Rachel's sell-out fringe debut hour It's No Job For A Nice Jewish Girl won the Best Comedy Award at the Greater Manchester Fringe in 2017 and toured internationally to critical acclaim. Her second solo hour Hinayni! (Underbelly) received rave reviews, but the pandemic stopped it from touring. Her 2022 show Pray It Forward was award nominated, again for Best Comedy at the Greater Manchester Fringe, and performed to packed rooms in Edinburgh.

Prior to stand-up, Rachel's theatrical dark comedy Staffroom was voted Most Audience Recommended Show at the Camden Fringe and her follow up show An Insomniac's Guide To Ambulances was a 5-star success. You can watch her short film (commissioned by Elysium Theatre), Pass Over Me online.

Rachel also wrote and performed Lynn Ruth and Me, UK Jewish Film Short Doc Fund Winner, celebrating the life of comedian Lynn Ruth Miller, who died last year aged 87.

Rachel headlines main stages at Jewish events and festivals all over the country and abroad, including hosting Chanukah in the Square, in Trafalgar Square, London. She's has written for the Independent, the Jewish Chronicle, Jewish Renaissance, the US based Moment Magazine, and been quoted in the Guardian.
