We dedicate this year's show to the late, great, founder of NewsRevue, Professor Michael Hodd, who launched this multi award-winning, Guinness World Record-breaking institution 43 years ago. Emma Taylor, its producer since 2001, says 'it is fitting that Mike's enduring legacy will make its debut in the iconic Pleasance Grand.' Expect 100% brand-new material, much of it written by the preposterously talented cast and creative team. From King Charles to Keir Starmer, Prince Harry to Putin, Sunak to Strikes and Sleaze, no stone will be left unturned. NewsRevue provides 'license to dissent en masse' ***** (BroadwayBaby.com).

Fringe: NewsRevue offers brilliant satire on current affairs

From the cost of living to the coronation. From prime ministers coming and going to more U-turns than you can count. From TV scandals to former presidents finding themselves indicted. There is, to put it lightly, so much news right now.

#SNAPCHATZ Episode 56: Showcasing four flavours of the Fringe

Welcome to a special edition of #SNAPCHATZ, showcasing four flavours of the Fringe! In this episode, we delve into the unique perspectives of Thenjiwe's politically-charged comedy The Mandela Effect, Charlie Ryall's lively sketch fest NewsRevue, Shelley Middler's working-class Scottish drama The Collie's Shed, and Jamie-Lee Money's poignant exploration of grief in Spin Cycles. Each of these shows offers an intriguing taste of #EdFringe 2023, enhancing the festival's vibrant palette.
