2023 Edinburgh Fringe
Nathan D'Arcy Roberts: Present/Tense
An assured debut show from super-likeable storyteller Nathan D'Arcy Roberts. There's eloquent routines on topics such as being of mixed-race origin, and surprising tales about his family. A show everyone will enjoy... except those who actually like Luton.
Nathan wants to live in the moment but the past has a way of finding him. This hotly anticipated return to the Fringe, from an exciting new voice with a unique perspective, takes on the vital contemporary issues: modern masculinity, racial identity and bizarre song choices in McDonald's. Winner of the BBC's prestigious Felix Dexter Bursary, twice nominated for the BBC New Comedy Award. Writer for Horrible Histories, The Emily Atack Show, and The Now Show.
