2023 Edinburgh Fringe
Midsummer Dream in Auld Reekie
Leitheatre's 39th year on the Fringe features a brand-new adaptation of A Midsummer Night's Dream, set firmly in downtown Edinburgh with a cast of locals taking you through the hilarious action from beginning to end. Will Lord Douglas and Lady Jane make it to the altar? Will Boaby and his band of am-dram misfits get to perform? Will Aeneas ever get his own head back? Will Puck eventually get it right? Moving the action from Greece to Auld Reekie, the Athens of the North, a new look to Shakespeare's classic comedy.
