2023 Edinburgh Fringe
Ice Hole: A Cardboard Comedy
Terrifically inventive lo-fi high-jinks as an epic road - and boat - trip is told via the blank canvas of cardboard. There's a laugh on every flap.
A great actor recounts an epic journey from the fjords of Iceland to the dust of the Spanish desert. Cursed by the mermaid he once accidentally caught, he is aided by one fellow performer, a language no-one quite understands and a thousand pieces of cardboard. In the spirit of Monty Python with a twist of Laurel & Hardy, the theatrical acrobatics from these virtuoso performers will make you howl with laughter. From the creators of Edinburgh sensation, Fishbowl. Moliere Theatre Award winner. 'Serious theatre magic' (New York Times). The Best Theatre In Europe 2022.
