Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino (MTV's Jersey Shore) was convicted of tax fraud while Billy McFarland (the Fyre Festival guy) was convicted of wire fraud. They were locked up in the same federal prison. That's 100% true. This comedy is about their friendship and betrayal, with female stand-up comedians playing these NJ bad boys. It's not 100% true.
