2022 Edinburgh Fringe
Acuña Acuna
A one-person comedy show based on comedian Erick Acuña's real life as a Peruvian Latino living in the United States. Covers experiences from filling out an English-language medical form for the first time, to going decades without trying homemade chocolate chip cookies, to being a 14-year-old living in the middle of a war. The show had a sold-out run at the 2019 Capital Fringe Festival (Washington DC), where it was voted as the Best Solo Performance and Best of Fringe. It was also a finalist of the Yes And... Laughter Lab in partnership with Comedy Central.
