The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui
After their triumphant Tartuffe and their moving and powerful Laramie Project Bede's are returning to Edinburgh with that timeless classic, The Resistable Rise of Arturo Ui by Bertolt Brecht. Set in Chicago of the 1930's it's a satirical parody of the rise to power of Adolf Hitler. However, it is still equally relevant today with parallels to ... well you choose - any angry, moronic ruthless leaders' rise to power. It's fun with a hard hitting message. Come and see it!
