Sam Lake and Chloe Petts are Household Essentials. Think of them like a scented candle. They make everything seem lovely, whilst being ultimately pointless. With talent as bright as a fresh pair of marigolds, Chloe and Sam present a split-bill showcase, each performing a 30-minute set, including stories about modern love, life and a jar of marbles on the back of the toilet. Mutually but separately gay, they also explore themes of gender, sexuality and childhood. 'Makes for fantastic company' (Steve Bennett, Chortle.co.uk).
