We live in a divided world and we want to cross that divide. But how can we be popular now 'populist' means 'I'm a shit'? Answer: we love everyone. Oh, except bastards. Everyone hates bastards, right? We agree. Multi-award nominated* musical-activist-comedians, Jonny & The Baptists, are sick of being political and divisive. This show is about how everything is definitely fine. Let's just get along! 'Excellent' **** (Guardian). 'Wickedly funny' **** (Times). 'Lovely' **** (Scotsman). 'Superbly crafted' **** (Metro). 'Disgraceful' *** (Telegraph)... (bastards). *We've lost five times, won no times.

Interview: Jonny & The Baptists
I've only seen Jonny & The Baptists the once but plan to rectify that as soon as I can as they're one of the best musical comedy acts around, something that's notoriously difficult to do well but which they manage somewhat beautifully.

Don't get me wrong, I love Edinburgh, with it's Hogwartsy cobbles and granite grandeur, seeped in history and united by culture, heritage and a too-often-racist hatred of the English. But when it comes to the Edinburgh Festival, the major advantage of Edinburgh, that it's nowhere near London, becomes its major drawback for all of us keen to see some of the country's best comedy.
