The Yank is a Manc! My Ancestors & Me
In a fish-out-of-water comedy of errors, Hopwood DePree tells of how researching his ancestry online led to him leaving Tinseltown to save his 600-year-old British ancestral pile, Hopwood Hall. Built by his ancestors in 1426 near Rochdale, the 60-room mansion is now falling down. At last the locals may have found an heir to save the Hall! But perhaps Hopwood's not quite the heir they had in mind... The true story as featured in The Guardian, Good Morning Britain and The One Show!
